Power Platform Navigation: A Shift in Thinking

🧠💻 Something clicked this weekend - and I can't stop thinking about it.

Outside of Power Platform, I've been doing a bit of experimenting… diving into other tech stacks, frameworks, and ways of building apps. And you know what's fascinating?

In Power Apps, we often start with the content.

What should be on the screen? What data are we showing? Then we patch together the navigation afterward.

But in other stacks, it's often the opposite.

The first thing you do? You map out the navigation system - how the app flows, how pages link, how a user moves around.

That shift in thinking really stuck with me.

And moving forward… I'm taking that principle with me back into Power Platform.

🔄 Design the navigation first. Then fill in the content.

It's already changing how I think about user journeys, usability, and structure.

Has anyone else noticed this difference? Would love to hear how you approach app design - Power Platform or otherwise!
